Issue 9 Parallel Blackjack Tournament at the Berkeley Art Museum

On Friday, May 29th, at the Berkeley Art Museum, 32 players 12 dealers sat through several rounds of parallel black jacks, using Ryan Gander & Europa's issue 9 of THE THING Quarterly. The tournament, which was a collaborative endeavor with our friends at the Curiosity Shoppe in San Francisco, was part of a larger secret event at the museum called The Secret Society. The winner of the tournament received a $100 cash prize and $100 gift certificate from The Curiosity Shoppe. The event was organized by the amazing Francois Vigneault, and the card holders were built by Luke Bartels and Jeff Canham in collaboration with Europa.
