We are proud to announce that Filmmaker and Visual Artist Mike Mills is joining THE THING Quarterly as a contributor for issue 18, due out this summer 2012. Mike Mills is an LA based visual artist and Filmmaker whose work includes the films Thumbsucker, and this year's Beginners (with Ewan MacGregor, Christopher Plummer and Mélanie Laurent). We've been a big fan of Mike's visual art and films for a long time and after seeing Beginners, which is damn amazing, we were further motivated to get him on board. We are looking forward to working with Mike on his issue.
