NEW THING QUARTERLY PROJECT
NATHAN LYNCH: THE PERFECT CUP

Beginning Monday, July 2nd, at the THE THING Quarterly's office in San Francisco, we will start the latest project in our series of THING projects. For this one, we are working with San Francisco based visual artist Nathan Lynch, who will be working throughout the summer to make the perfect cup.

He's been meeting with San Francisco coffee roasters, espresso drinkers and anyone with an opinion regarding the prefect cup for drinking a coffee or a cappuccino. His individually made cups will start filling the shelves in our office from now until the end of August. We have survey forms here in the office, so come by and help us choose the perfect cup. 3285 20th Street in San Francisco's Mission District. We are here Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 10:30AM-4:00PM

At the end of the summer, we will choose one of the cups, with your help, and produce an initial run. The idea is to create the perfect San Francisco cup. Come down and take a look at the prototypes and help us decide which one it should be.
